AROMA & CHARACTER

Soft malt notes meet warm honey sweetness, delicately underpinned by dried plum and a hint of dark cocoa shell. The first infusion is round, sweet, and clear – with a gentle body and tranquil depth. The longer it steeps, the spicier the profile becomes: subtle wood notes, a hint of smoke, and a touch of tobacco in the finish. The structure remains consistently balanced – without harshness or bitterness. Ideal for quiet afternoons or as a gentle companion throughout the day.

THE TEA FARM

Tea craftsmanship from Qimen, Anhui

Keemun OP comes from the Qimen region – the birthplace of Chinese black tea tradition. In the cool, misty hills of Anhui, the delicate Sinensis leaves grow slowly, protected by altitude and humid air.

After harvesting in late spring, the leaves are carefully withered, rolled, and slowly oxidized – this is how the typical honey-warm depth with subtle fruitiness and a hint of smoke unfolds. The finely rolled OP leaf remains soft in texture – completely without additives or flavorings.

TEA FARM

Small plots with a focus on traditional craftsmanship – no mass production, but selected quality.

TERROIR

Fog-covered hills at 800–1,000 m, mineral clay soil, cool microclimate – ideal for slow growth and aromatic depth.

ORIGIN

Keemun is one of China's most important black teas. Our OP comes from Qimen, processed using traditional methods – calm, smooth, and long-lasting.
