Tea art from Guangxi

Downy Silver Needle comes from small tea gardens in the Guangxi region – a mountainous, misty province in southern China. The tea plants grow there at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, protected from direct sunlight and given plenty of time to ripen.

Only once a year, in early spring, are the delicately hairy buds picked by hand. They then slowly wither in the air, undergoing minimal natural oxidation. The final drying process is gentle and takes place at low temperatures – entirely without roasting or mechanical heat.

The result: a bright, subtle white tea with delicate sweetness, floral elegance and tranquil depth – natural and unadulterated.

Guangxi's tea gardens are located at around 1,000 m – shrouded in mist, rich in minerals, with cool nights and gentle temperature fluctuations.

In the cup, Downy Silver Needle displays a light golden and floral aroma. The flavor profile is reminiscent of linden blossom, apricot, and a subtle herbal sweetness. The texture is soft, the sweetness subtle and never overpowering.

PREPARATION

Pour 5 g per 200 ml at 75–80 °C .
4 infusions : 2 min. floral & clear / 3 min. soft & honey-sweet

CAFFEINE CONTENT

Mild to moderate (typical of white tea), with theanine: For calm alertness without heaviness. Ideal for clear mornings or gentle afternoons.
