Snow Silent

Snow Silent comes from high-altitude, misty tea gardens in Fujian at around 1,000 meters. The cool, humid microclimate slows leaf growth and promotes a bright, natural sweetness. The tea is selectively picked as "two leaves and a bud." This is followed by classic white tea processing: long withering in the air and varying sunlight, very gentle natural oxidation, and low-temperature drying. No roasting, no additives – this ensures a light golden, clean, and silky cup.

Snow Silent is a white tea that works through its leaf structure: the buds and young leaves initially provide fragrance and a light sweetness, while the larger leaf portions later contribute body and length. This is precisely why brewing it in multiple stages is worthwhile. The tea doesn't open up all at once, but gradually – first transparent and light, then rounder and more robust, without darkening the cup.

If you want to control its flavor, time is more important than temperature with white tea. 75–80 °C keeps the aromas clean and prevents the subtle astringency from developing too early. A shorter brewing time results in Snow Silent being lighter and airier; a longer brewing time allows it to build texture and reveal that gently warming spiciness in the finish. A rinse isn't necessary – if you simply want to open the tea more quickly, a very brief initial contact with hot water, which you then discard, is sufficient.
