This is how the tea tastes

AROMA & CHARACTER

A warm opening with notes of bright blossom, honey, and a hint of citrus. The texture is soft, almost velvety, the taste sweet and spicy with a subtle depth. With each subsequent infusion, the tea opens up a little more: the sweetness becomes rounder, the spice clearer, the structure remains silky and light. Ideal for quiet afternoons or leisurely mornings – whenever you want to wake up gently without sacrificing depth.

THE TEA FARM

Yunnan's Yellow Tea Heritage

Huang Ya Yellow Tips comes from Simao, a mountainous region in southern Yunnan. The tea gardens are located at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters – cool, misty, and mineral-rich.

After picking, the fresh leaves are briefly heated (pan-firing) to stop oxidation. This is followed by the so-called menhuang – a centuries-old process in which the leaves are gently "sweated" in warm cloths. This process is repeated several times and gives the fruit its characteristic sweetness, softness, and golden color.

A tea that requires patience – and rewards with depth, clarity and subtlety.

What is special about Huang Ya Yellow Tips?

Huang Ya is a rare yellow tea from China, made from the tender, yellowish-green leaf buds of the tea plant.
